Lucy's love affair with travel began in the charming villages of Nottinghamshire, fueled by childhood adventures visiting family in Germany, Switzerland, and Corsica. She's a bit of a language and culture enthusiast, you could say!

After university days spent hopping between England, Germany, and France, Lucy swapped textbooks for the real world, exploring the vineyards of Beaujolais and the spa town of Baden-Baden. Then came a whirlwind 12 years in London's advertising scene, where she honed her strategic planning skills and had a lot of fun!

In 1994, Lucy and her husband traded city life for mountain air, embarking on an ongoing adventure that saw them move to Seattle, then Vancouver Island, and back to the Cascade Mountains..

Now, with two grown children, Lucy's a seasoned traveler with a unique perspective. Returning to Britain to visit family sparked a newfound appreciation for her homeland. She sees it through both a tourist's curious eyes and a local's insider knowledge.
