That is why in Oct 2024 I formed Inside Story. A travel itinerary curation service, which creates personalized trip plans, based on what you love to do, but also a desire to create more meaningful trips, which give back to the communities you visit.
Finding the Joy
Joy is the magic sauce of a trip.
The joy, let’s face, it does not come from one TikTok recommended site to the next, but days spent immersing yourself in the culture, sights, sounds and experiences that the location offers. It arises from personal interactions and connections made and often feeling like you made a difference. Inside Story finds out which connections are important to you and curates your trip around those moments.

Must ‘see’s’ aren’t necessarily what you personally want to see.

We recommend local, small, distinctive hospitality businesses and experience providers. We have such a wealth of creative, fun, gorgeous places to eat and stay in the UK, from shepherd’s huts to grand old estates and farm stays. There is definitely something for everyone.

Travel needs to change and we want to be at the forefront of that change. Whenever possible we focus on businesses with similar values, who are focussing on regenerative and sustainable practices.. We give back to the local communities visited (1% of our fee to a local charities) and can facilitate volunteering as part of your trip. When available we recommend sustainable/slow transport options.

We do all the research for you.
The hours and hours of looking into accommodation, transport, logistics ……are gone and you get to enjoy the trip. We provide all the details needed for booking, you book the trip. Booking tends to be the easiest part of trip planning and means you get to interact with providers before you arrive! It also means that you get the detail and focus of a High End trip, at an affordable price.
